An exciting opportunity for an experienced youth worker to support in the delivery of a diverse range of work with young people over a geographical area of Richmond and Kingston

About the role
As Cluster Support Youth Worker for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading on the planning, facilitation and evaluation of a range of youth work including centre based, detached, school based, targeted and universal provision
  • Building meaningful relationships with young people that increases their resilience and ability to achieve their potential 
  • The Management of a youth centre and various part time staff teams
  • Liaising with key stakeholders including young people themselves, parents, local residents, schools, social services and other partners

About you
To be Cluster Support Youth Worker for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:

  • Youth Work Qualification or related at level 4 or above
  • Experience of delivering youth work programmes that meet the needs of young people that have raised achievement and improved outcomes 
  • Experience of putting young people's participation at the heart of the work you deliver
  • Experience of management of staff and buildings is desirable
  • Willingness to work flexible working hours including evenings
