Our client gives families with a disabled child the help and practical support they need, every step of the way. An established national charity, they lead the way in providing disabled children and their families with support to thrive, not just survive. They ensure disabled children from birth to 25 have the opportunity to learn, play, build friendships, gain confidence and improve their wellbeing and we provide vital time, emotional and practical support to parents and siblings.
They now need a Registered Manager to lead and manage their overnight short breaks service at their wonderful new centre in Waterlooville, Hampshire. Their service is about to re-launch offering children and young people the opportunity to benefit from wonderful surroundings and a purpose-built accommodation.
As the Registered Manager you will be an experienced professional responsible for staff training and induction and supervision in line with Ofsted regulations and the organisation's quality standards. You will need to build a strong culture of team working and maintain an environment which enhances safeguarding of children and young people.
Qualified to NVQ Level 5 or with a Social Work Degree or equivalent, you will have gained at least two years Registered Manager experience and have proven experience as a Deputy or Residential Manager. Team management experience is a must.
It is an exciting time to join this charity as their local services are being restructured, and you will be involved in creating the new supporting structure.
