The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund Airplay Youth Support programme is a vital part of our work. As a Station Youth Worker you’ll be working in our Airplay project at RAF Scampton which is a busy and vibrant youth project.

How you’ll make a difference:

By providing innovative and exciting youth and play work to young people aged 8 to 18

By working alongside our RAF colleagues to support children and young people from the RAF community

By supporting young people through various stages of their lives.

By being part of a much loved project across the entire RAF.

What you’ll need:

  • A level 3 qualification in youth work, or the willingness to undertake the training within 12 months.
  • At least one years’ experience of leading a youth work project.
  • An understanding of the issues that affect young people.
  • An ability to plan and deliver creative programmes.
  • An ability to lead and inspire a team of sessional youth workers and volunteers.
  • A firm commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people.
