Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their participation team to support the development and delivery of a range of young people’s engagement projects and initiatives.

Temporary Participation Development Officer
Ref: 1714
London based, 35 hours per week
Fixed term contract to 31 July 2018
£31,031 to £33,946

You will work with existing networks of children and young people and the organsiations which support them, to develop creative approaches to improving their participation in decision-making.

You will also develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to share information and resources that support other practitioners to engage with children and young people.

This post involves direct work with disabled children and young people, and children and young people with special educational needs so you will need to demonstrate your experience of this.

You will also be able to evidence how you have used your interpersonal, communication and networking skills to work with a wide range of organisations and stakeholders.  Excellent planning and organisation skills are also required for this role along with knowledge of social media outlets and experience of using this to deliver communications.
