Play and Youth Services, Short Breaks & Early Years Nursery

Our ethos of inclusion, consultation, choice and partnership with children, young people and their families is at the heart of what we do.

We deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive play and youth services for children and young people with and without disabilities aged 2 to 18 years including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

We are particularly looking for workers who have local knowledge and availability in Westminster, Islington, Brent and Ealing who can work:

Early mornings (before school), evenings (after school), on Saturday, on Sunday and during school holidays.  

In our Early Years, Play and Youth Services we are looking for people who can work in early years inclusive nursery play and youth activities; site based and in the community working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis within our fully inclusive nursery (under 5’s) and, after school, evening, weekend and holiday schemes (2 to 19 years)

In our Short Break, Home Support and Outreach Services we are looking for people who can work independently providing 1:1 care and meaningful activities in the home and in accessing local community facilities. In addition on a 1:1 basis we provide coaching and buddying support to enable families to reach their desired goals

To work for us you will need excellent communication skills, a positive, non-judgmental and supportive approach to families and a commitment to improving outcomes, inclusion, safeguarding, and team work.  You must be willing to support children and young people with all areas of their lives, including personal care, moving and handling, daily living skills and development of communication skills and choice.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
