An exciting Business Support Manager role with a national charity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client, to provide business support to local nurseries identified as a priority by the local authority to develop, reshape and create new childcare places.

Business Support Manager (Early Years Childcare) 
Location: Home-based with travel, Cambridgeshire or surrounding area 
Contract type: Full Time, Interim until 30th April 2018 
Hours: 37 hours per week 
Salary: £29,000 per annum

As Business Support Manager you will play a key role in representing and supporting nurseries prepare for the delivery of the extended 30 hours funded early education. The Business Support Manager will work with the local authority team in providing local and bespoke business support including brokering partnerships to enable parents to access the funded offer.

They work with local and national government to develop an environment in which quality early learning and care can flourish.

About You: 
The successful candidate will have:

  • First-hand experience of running an Early Years setting
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and other legislative standards for the sector
  • Outstanding communication skills, be great at building relationships.
  • A good knowledge of the early years and childcare sector, and the national and local government policy context for nurseries are essential.
