We are looking for an experienced Manager to take responsibility for our Children’s Centres delivery and the strategic forward planning, and to
performance manage the programme ensuring both local and national objectives are met.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead provide children’s centre services across the area through a Hub and Spoke delivery model. There
are 3 hubs: Maidenhead, Windsor and Datchet/South Ascot, each managed by a Centre Co-ordinator and a team of Support Workers.

RBWM Children’s Centres have been offering support for families and young children since 2007 and are an embedded part of the borough’s early

In addition you must have a thorough understanding of children’s safeguarding and current legislation, and be clear about how this impacts upon all areas of the Children’s Centres programme. You must be confident in supporting the Children’s Centres when making decisions affecting children’s
welfare and safety, and be able to prepare the centres for inspection.

The Children’s Centre Team is part of the borough’s Family Support Service and works closely with Parenting teams, Social Services, Education and
Childcare Advisory Service, Health partners and a range of private and voluntary providers.

If you think your skills meet our needs, we would like to hear from you. For more information, please call David Scott - Head of Services for Families
