Coram is one of the UK’s leading adoption agencies and was recently judged as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED and has been commissioned to manage Redbridge Council’s Adoption Service. Coram and Redbridge Council are working in partnership to strengthen the operational and strategic management to improve adoption and permanency outcomes for looked after children; our key objective is to provide an excellent service for looked after children requiring adoptive and permanent families.
You will work directly for, and closely with, Coram’s and Redbridge Council’s Senior Adoption Management team, to lead and manage the Council’s Adoption Service. We are looking for a creative senior manager with sound knowledge of the adoption framework. You will be a strong communicator, able to build positive relationships across the Council’s Children’s Services and other stakeholders to find adoptive families in a timely way.
If you are an exceptional operational manager, who is willing to shape this new partnership, and provide visible leadership, develop performance management and quality assurance systems to achieve excellent adoptive and permanency outcomes, this may be the ideal role for you.
This post will be based in Station Road, Redbridge with some travel to Central London.
