As an experienced JNC qualified youth worker you will take responsibility for planning, delivering and evaluating innovative and focused curriculum based youth work across the district. You will manage a team of youth workers, youth support workers and volunteers to deliver high quality programmes with clear learning outcomes. You will need to have the ability to forge positive relationships with diverse groups of young people and partners, responding flexibly to the needs of young people and the Service. Good IT, organisation and communications skills are essential as you will need to record data on a management information system, meet targets, produce reports and correspond with young people, parents and partners. You will be required to deliver face to face work 4 evenings a week including Friday or Saturday nights, other times during the week and at the weekends plus school holidays.
