Project Officer, Helping Hands
35 hours per week, 3 year fixed term contract
Can be based in the below locations:
London - Office based
L4 £25,474 - £29,762 p.a.
or
London/Birmingham - Home based or Birmingham - Office based
N4 £23,270 - £27,556 p.a.
We are looking for a unique individual who can deliver a three year “Helping Hands” project, funded by the National Lottery through Big Lottery Fund, to deaf children and young people via schools in the North East, Midlands and London.
Do you have good project management skills? Are you an efficient communicator? Do you have a passion for improved services for children and young people? Do you relate well with teachers?
Helping Hands fits in with the Government’s new “Positive for Youth” strategy and the “Big Society” agenda by empowering deaf children and young people to help each other, develop their skills and aspirations, and take an active role in their communities within and beyond the project.
