Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College are a delivery partner for the Prince’s Trust Team Programme.
The Prince’s Trust is the UK’s leading youth charity offering 14-30 year olds opportunities to develop their confidence, skills and job chances. It aims to help young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to succeed.
Team is a 12-week programme of personal development. Teams of up to 15 young people (16-25 year olds) participate in a challenging and action-packed programme. The programme aims to help young people towards employment further education and training. All Team activities are carried out under the guidance of a Team Leader. Team Leaders are required to recruit, select and lead a team of individuals through a personal development programme centred on teamwork in the community. You will guide the young people through an outward bound residential, various projects in the community, individual work placements and support them in obtaining a Prince's Trust qualification. You will have a minimum of one years experience of working with young people aged 16-25, from a range of backgrounds and facing a variety of issues. You will hold a minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths and a willingness to undertake a PTLLS Teaching Qualification within the first 12-months of the contract.
