The Woking YMCA is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Project Leader to coordinate and deliver the Big Lottery Funded YBINVOLVED Project from our hub youth facility “The Ypod Centre”; working together with our management of the Youth Centres in our area (7 in total), delivering and reporting against exacting targets, whilst at the same time maintaining the ethos of the YMCA in enabling young people to break down barriers, develop personally, and to expand and increase their social skills.
This post will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
Salary £27,500 per annum
37.5 hours per week (includes evenings and weekends)
The project will focus on young people aged 11-25 with the specific aim to promote inclusion and reduce exclusion by the delivery of targeted programmes, including health and fitness sessions, accredited expressive art qualifications, and mentoring programmes moving young people from NEET to EET.
We are seeking an experienced and talented individual educated to degree level. A qualification in Youth Work would be an advantage.
The YB Project is funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.
