The Play Service provides a range of activities for children and their families, these include after school clubs, children’s centres, play centres, holiday childcare and development work etc. At present we are seeking to fill two vacancies.
You will take overall responsibility for:
• The management of one of the children’s centres
• Co-ordinating service provision to ensure the children’s centre offer is met, at various children’s centres within a geographical area of the Borough
• Planning and service development and management of services, staff, budget and premises.
You will have substantial experience of partnership working to provide services to children and their families and a relevant qualification to level 3 is required. This qualification must be recognised by Ofsted.
