Required across Hertfordshire including Dacorum, St Albans, Stevenage, Welwyn Hatfield and Three Rivers.

You will need to have the energy, commitment and creativity to motivate young people (aged 13-19) to learn new skills and to support their personal and social development.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and imaginative Youth Support Workers in Charge to plan, deliver and evaluate a wide range of curriculum based youth work programmes on Friday and Saturday evenings and during the week.

You will have paid or voluntary experience in delivering youth work in a variety of settings. You will be required to supervise a small staff team, meet targets and deadlines. You will lead on the recording of young people’s learning and achievements for your projects.

Good IT skills are essential, as you will be required to record data on relevant management information systems, produce reports and correspondence as required. We will provide you with initial and ongoing training.

You will be required to work on average 3 evenings a week and during the school holidays.
