NDCS, working in partnership with Surrey Deaf Children’s Society has a well-established support service for deaf children and families in Surrey. An opportunity has arisen to join our team of dedicated family officers providing family support in the area.
We are looking for a superb Family Officer who can make a big difference to the lives of deaf children and their families in Surrey and the surrounding area.
The focus of this role will be to empower families and carers of deaf children and young deaf people enabling them to make informed choices, providing information and support.
In addition, you will use your first class interpersonal skills and track record of working with families to support our local deaf children’s societies and raise awareness of NDCS’s services, membership and support among families, young deaf people and professionals in the area.
The closing date for applications is 9am on Tuesday 11 September 2012. We expect interviews to be held in London on Thursday 27 September 2012.
