The Child Brain Injury Trust is a UK-wide charity providing information, support and training for children and young people with an acquired brain injury, their families and professionals. We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our national team of Child and Family Support Officers.
You will work with children/young people who have been affected by acquired brain injuries, and their families, to provide emotional and practical support and to help them move towards self-management of their condition.
You will need to be able to demonstrate considerable previous experience in a similar role; excellent organisational skills and ability to work with minimum supervision; be empathetic, patient and organised; be able to engage children/young people and, above all, be able to treat people with respect and dignity at all times.
