Head of Youth Work
A high profile and challenging opportunity for a talented and ambitious youth work professional to join the one of the most successful youth organisations in the UK.
As the recognised Centre for Excellence in its field with a vision to provide the best opportunities for the most vulnerable children and young people in Bolton, Bolton Lads & Girls Club is looking for an exceptional person to lead our Youth Work Team.
You will manage and inspire our seven night a week Youth Club and varied programme of projects. You will deliver our key objectives, ensuring our programmes are safe, inclusive, developmental and that they enable all children and young people to achieve.
You will have a passion for youth work influenced by significant grass roots youth work experience, and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to relate to young people from all backgrounds, including those most vulnerable.
A strategic thinker, you will have developed your career into management, will be able to work under pressure and will possess excellent organisational skills. You will have proven people management and coaching skills, and will play a key role in developing the youth work strategy across the Club and develop external partnerships to increase the offer for Bolton’s young people.

Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent with a relevant youth work qualification.
The salary package reflects the importance of this role, and a pension scheme will be available after 6 months service. However we believe that your biggest reward will be the difference you make to the lives of young people.
