Supporting families and providing a range of early interventions are key to Children’s Services at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. We
have already begun to deliver our Intensive Family Support Programme to help Troubled Families, and this exciting and challenging role is the
designated ‘Troubled Families Coordinator’ for the Borough.

As an energetic, experienced manager you will be responsible for leading the operational delivery and strategic development for a range of services,
which provide early intervention and preventative support using evidence-based family support across all agencies within our Borough.

Your responsibilities will include all non-statutory family support services, the children’s centre programme and the continued implementation of the
common assessment framework, and significant budgetary responsibilities (approx £1.6M).

You should have a visionary understanding of the role of parents in child development, a comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding issues and processes
and be able to demonstrate effective influencing and negotiation skills.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally be qualified in a nationally accredited Parenting Support methodology. The post will
require some evening and occasional weekend work.
