Project Development Manager
Children and Young People in Other Settings, inc. International (CYPOS)
Salary £28,529pa
Initial contract to 31 March 2013
This post has been created to facilitate the development of new programmes within the CYPOS sector with the aim of extending and diversifying work within this setting in accordance with the revitalised Booktrust mission.
The post holder will work in collaboration with other colleagues to assess and develop new ideas for products/programmes, making recommendations with a view to taking these from concept to a viable product/package. Responsibilities include project and relationship management, developing networks and representing the organisation externally.
We are looking for someone with sound project management skills and experience, coupled with knowledge of the social care sector and policy relating to children’s reading. To be successful in the role you will also have excellent presentation skills and experience of managing external relationships.
