Oxfordshire Association for Young People (OAYP) provides support and services to its affiliated volunteer-run youth clubs and groups located throughout Oxfordshire. Additionally, OAYP delivers several youth work projects in Oxfordshire which include a Peer Education Project and a Preventative NEET Programme.

OAYP have been awarded a grant from the Big Lottery to develop a new programme, entitled Community Link-Up. This project sees OAYP work with communities, young people and other stakeholders to develop volunteer-led youth clubs across Oxfordshire. The project started in January 2012 and will initially run for three years.


To deliver this new project we are currently recruiting for the following position:

Position: Youth Club Development Officer
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £23,650 per annum plus benefits
Main Role: To organise and part deliver Youth Club Training with adult and young volunteers as well as organise and part deliver an Activities Programme with young people

OAYP is committed to developing its staff; this post will include appropriate training opportunities for the successful candidate.
