At 1625 Independent People we provide housing support and advice to young people in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and Bath and North East Somerset (BANES).
We are launching a new four year project funded by Big Lottery Fund, called Future 4 me to improve outcomes for young people leaving custody and care across the West of England.
About the Project
“Future 4 Me” is an innovative partnership project that brings together voluntary and statutory sector services, supporting young people to access a stable home, achieve improved emotional and mental health, and fulfil their aspirations and potential.
The project targets young people who have multiple and often complex needs who are often falling in and out of services.
Senior Practitioner, Future 4 Me (Leaving Care and Custody)
You will lead the small multi-disciplinary team providing supervision to three specialist Project Workers and provide direct support to a small caseload of young people. You will bring significant experience of working with young people leaving custody and/or care, and experience of supervising staff and promoting reflective practice.
The post carries 30 days annual leave, employers pension contribution and healthcare.
All post holders should understand the importance of working within equal opportunities, safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines. An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check will be carried out for all successful applicants.
