35 hours per week Term time only plus 14 days
Pro rata of £21,000 to £23,000 per annum
Dulwich College is an independent boys’ school situated in a pleasant suburb approximately five miles from the centre of London. There are about 1500 boys on the school roll, of whom 120 are boarders.
We are looking for a Matron to foster an encouraging, welcoming and supportive environment within one of the Boarding Houses. Duties include ensuring the smooth running of domestic matters all year round, taking responsibility for the welfare of the boarders, daily liaison with the Housemasters and responsibility for the supervision and management of House cleaning staff and cleaning supplies.
The successful candidate will be efficient, adaptable and caring, able to build and maintain good relationships with pupils and staff and be conscious of the needs of teenage boys away from home.
