Regional Youth Co-ordinator

Covering East of England but candidate will be based in their local town. We will recruit from Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.
Contracted until March 31st 2014
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
Mencap has exciting Regional Youth Co-ordinator positions funded through Inspire Me. We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to work within a challenging yet rewarding role. These roles will involve travelling and a driving licence is essential.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work with schools, colleges and youth organisations to build capacity for young people to support them into positive activities. You must be self-motivated and constantly look forward to new challenges. You will enjoy working under pressure, thinking creatively to develop and communicate new solutions and be able to work within a team or independently.
You will need to be a brilliant partnership builder and will work across stakeholders to embed the delivery of Inspire Me. You will use your professional credibility and experience to develop a Mencap young people programme. You will inspire, engage and enhance life for young people aged 14-25 with a learning disability through the Inspire Me programme.
