This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-established and respected local charity to help improve the well-being and life chances of children and young people in Stockwell, London SW8 and beyond.
Oasis runs three main projects; a Children’s Nature Garden, a Karting Project and an Adventure Playground and Cycle Project.
Each of the projects provides unique opportunities for children and young people to play, learn new skills and knowledge and develop confidence and self esteem.
Funded by Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need, this post is to develop an innovative youth intervention programme that aims to keep young people on the ‘Right Track’. This will be achieved by providing positive karting activities as well as mentoring, advice, information and guidance and family support for children and young people from the local community.
Based at the Oasis Karting Project, the Right Track Project Manager will ensure that high quality services are provided for a wide range of young people with different interests, backgrounds and abilities.
The right candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated, creative problem solver who believes that all young people have the right to succeed.
