Full time Salary: £ 28,400 (includes Inner London weighting) pro rata

This is initially an 8 month, fixed term contract (June 2012 – March 2013). We welcome secondment enquiries.
Do you have a passion for young people and global issues? Would you like to work within a leading global youth work provider managing
projects and developing new project ideas? 

Y Care International is the international relief and development agency of the YMCA movement in the UK and Ireland. Our global youth work programme supports YMCAs and youth work organisations to bring a global dimension to their work with marginalised young people.
We are looking for a new Global Youth Work Co-ordinator to manage our Global Youth Work in Action project funded by the Department for International Development. We seek an individual with strong experience in project management who is able to support the designing and fundraising of new projects. You must be comfortable working alongside a wide range of stakeholders including young people, youth workers and senior managers. 

This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their skills and experience at a national level. You will lead organising of training events, a national event for young people and supporting a range of organisations deliver smaller global youth work projects.
