The Wiltshire-wide Higher Level 2 Family and Parenting Support Service is an intensive new Action for Children intervention programme, designed to help struggling and vulnerable families with their complex needs. Using an evidence-based, innovative, 6 month programme, we’ll support families, working with them and other professionals, to help them avoid the need for specialist options such as social care and youth offending services. Our work gives families the chance to build a better life for themselves.

You’ll be an excellent planner and team manager, family-focused and enthusiastic. You’ll provide packages of support to meet families’ needs and liaise with other partner and external care agencies and professionals to directly support children, young people and their families throughout our intensive 6 month programme.
While you’re taking action for children, we’ll be taking action to make sure you’re fulfilled, with ongoing support and training.
