Full-time, 37 hours per week

1x based at Pinkneys Green Youth Centre, Maidenhead Ref: LEY069

1x based at Manor Youth Centre, Dedworth, Windsor Ref: LEY123

For 13-19 year olds living in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, it’s about empowerment, about making decisions and taking control of their own lives. For you, it’s about opening up opportunities and developing inspiring programmes that respond to young people’s recreational interests and developmental needs, helping them to gain real confidence and find a way forward.

A good working knowledge and understanding of the ECM outcomes is vital. Managing your work through a team of part-time youth workers and volunteers, we want you to be JNC qualified, passionate about youth work and have experience of working in challenging and diverse settings.

Naturally enthusiastic, friendly and encouraging, you must, above all, be a great communicator who can develop positive relationships with young people by offering support and constructive challenges, enabling their successful transition to active and responsible adult citizens.

One post is based in the Maidenhead area at Pinkneys Green Youth centre, a thriving youth centre in a residential part of Maidenhead, the other is in the Windsor area and will be based at the Manor Youth Centre, Dedworth, a thriving youth centre in a residential part of Windsor.
