Our client, a leading regeneration and development charity based in East London, have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Literacy Tutor. The position is an ongoing contract and is very well paid.

The successful applicant to this position will be working with a client group of socially excluded young people. The class will have had a troubled start to life and need an authoritative and supportive figure to help them find their feet. The position will mainly consist of delivering Literacy based training but will also consist of some skills for life and job training.

Applicants must have PGCE or City and Guilds 7407 teaching qualification or equivalent. In addition to this, our Client would like level four subject specialism in Literacy, although it isn't vital. Experience of working with a hard to reach caseload is extremely beneficial. Due to the nature of the client group applicants an enhanced CRB disclosure is mandatory.
