Children’s Centre Development Co-ordinator

Surrey Pay Scale E £24,054 - £28,566 per annum (Pay award pending)

The Wharf is a flourishing and highly regarded local authority nursery school.It is due to be designated as a Sure Start Children’s Centre in Autumn 2008.We are looking for someone with warmth and good organisational skills to:

• play a key role in setting up the new Children’s Centre in line with theWharf’s ethos and Sure Start’s principles
• organise and establish a range of support services to meet the needs of localchildren and families
•  develop strong working relationships with colleagues from a variety of professionalbackgrounds to create a truly integrated service

You will need a background in working with young children and families anda relevant professional qualification (Level 4 minimum).
